This course will focus on the theoretical understanding of the
structure of nucleons and nucleon excited states and on the
exploration of the strong interaction at intermediate distances.
The course combines lectures, discussions and presentations.

Oral presentations of individual research and reading assignments have
to be given during the lectures.

Individual analysis tasks will be assigned and the theoretical
background has to be established. In a report the analysis results
have to be explained in light of the underlying theory.

The oral exam is comprehensive and will include all material covered
during the semester. All students must take the oral exam.
