The University of South Carolina invites applications from outstanding experimental Nanoelectronics scientists for a tenure track assistant professor position in the Department of Physics & Astronomy starting August 16, 2007. The recently established “USC NanoCenter” supports this position. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in education, maintain a vigorous research program, and collaborate on related projects in progress on campus. Candidates with cross disciplinary expertise in the physics, chemistry, or biology of Nanoscale systems, devices and structures are especially encouraged to submit a complete curriculum vitae, publication list, statement of research interests and accomplishments, a research plan, and a minimum of three letters of recommendation to: Professor Richard A.
