The University of South Carolina seeks highly qualified individuals for tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks in its interdisciplinary program in advanced nuclear reactors and fuel cycles. Appointments will be made in Mechanical Engineering or Physics at a rank and salary commensurate with each candidate's credentials. Applicants should hold a PhD in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, nuclear physics, or a closely related field. The goal is a cluster hire of expertise, supported by the University's Faculty Excellence Initiative, to support multi-investigator research projects focused on advanced reactor systems.
