Proceedings for CISNP 2008

Strict Submission Deadline: Friday, July 11, 2008

You are strongly encouraged to submit your paper early!!

The proceedings of the Carolina International Symposium on Neutrino Physics will be published in the open access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS) which is published by the Institute of Physics Publishing in the UK. All papers published in JPCS are fully citable and upon publication will be free to download. A print copy will also be published and sent to participants.

JPCS is abstracted and indexed in Scopus, Inspec, MathSciNet, NASA Astrophysics Data System, SPIRES and elsewhere. Citations to JPCS papers are tracked online using IOP Publishing's citing articles facility in addition to the full citation tracking facilities provided by Scopus.

Preparing your paper

Journal of Physics: Conference Series uses author-supplied PDFs for all online and print publication. Authors are asked to prepare their papers using LaTeX2e or Microsoft Word according to the journal guidelines and templates.

Instructions on preparing your paper, together with LaTeX2e and Microsoft Word templates, can be downloaded from the journal web site.

The normal length of papers is 9 pages; in some cases up to one page extra may be allowed. Some review and / or editing of the paper may occur as necessary.

What you need to provide

  • The PDF file of your paper: when preparing their papers, authors are kindly requested to ensure that they follow the minimum basic requirements from the journal guidelines. Full details are available online, but as a minimum authors should:

    • Ensure that their paper includes an abstract, however brief.
    • Not add any page numbers, headers or footers to your article as these will be added during the publication process.
  • Any multimedia files you wish to publish online
    • JPCS encourages authors to submit multimedia files (such as video, animated clips, animated gif, Java applets, etc.) to enhance the online versions of published research articles. Multimedia guidelines are included with the LaTeX2e and Microsoft Word templates.
  • A signed Assignment of Copyright Form
    • The Assignment of Copyright Form is included in the LaTeX2e and Microsoft Word templates. You can send it electronically to Prof. Milind Purohit (as a PDF) by scanning the printed and signed form.
